We are the data controller for the personal data described in this policy and we comply with the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

1.Data we collect

Name, email address, postcode and region, project descriptions, uploaded photos, drawings and plans, builder profile information, messages with other users, device and browser metadata, and usage telemetry.

2.How we use it

To generate estimates and quotes, deliver the service you have asked for, improve our engine engine and accuracy of pricing, send account and transactional communications, match homeowners with builders (with your consent), prevent fraud and abuse, and comply with our legal obligations.

3.Lawful bases (UK GDPR)

Performance of a contract (delivering the platform you signed up for), legitimate interests (product improvement, security), consent (marketing, optional analytics, builder matching), and legal obligation (accounting and tax records).

5.User accounts

When you create an account we store your credentials securely (passwords are hashed) and retain account data for as long as your account is active, plus a limited period afterwards for legal and accounting purposes.

6.Payment processing

Payments are processed by Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd. We do not store full card numbers on our servers. Stripe acts as an independent data controller for payment data; see stripe.com/privacy.

7.Storage and security

Data is encrypted at rest and in transit. Servers are based in the EU/UK. We restrict access to personal data to staff who need it to operate the service.

8.Third parties

We do not sell your data. We use trusted processors for hosting, payments (Stripe), email delivery and analytics. No personal project content is shared with third parties for marketing.

9.Your rights
