1.Who we are
The platform, the software and the service (together, the "Service") known as BuildPrice IQ are owned and operated by SERVICES R US LTD, a company registered in England & Wales under company number 08726789, with registered office at 38 Durley Avenue, Pinner, England, HA5 1JQ ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms.
2.The Service
BuildPrice IQ provides industry-informed UK construction cost estimates, scope breakdowns, payment-schedule guidance and builder-matching tools for guidance purposes only. You must be 18 or over and have authority to enter into a contract to use the Service.
3.Accounts and acceptable use
You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials and for all activity on your account. You agree not to: (a) misuse the Service or attempt to interfere with it; (b) reverse engineer, scrape or copy substantial parts of the platform; (c) upload unlawful, infringing or harmful content; (d) present industry-informed estimates as formal quantity surveyor reports or use them to mislead consumers.
4.Estimate and construction pricing disclaimer
All prices, schedules and reports produced by the platform are indicative guide prices generated automatically based on regional UK data and the information you provide. They are not formal quotations, surveys or quantity surveyor reports. Actual costs vary significantly with site conditions, specification, contractor availability and market movements. Always obtain multiple written quotes from qualified tradespeople and commission a professional survey before committing to any building work.
5.Pricing, subscriptions and refunds
Subscription fees are billed in advance in GBP and are exclusive of VAT unless stated otherwise. You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy (14-day window from initial purchase or new billing period).
6.Payments
Payments are processed by Stripe. By submitting payment details you authorise SERVICES R US LTD to charge the relevant amount through Stripe. We do not store full card details on our systems.
7.Intellectual property
All software, content, branding, designs and proprietary models forming part of the Service are owned by SERVICES R US LTD or its licensors and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of project information you upload and grant us a worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, process and display it solely to operate and improve the Service.
8.Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, SERVICES R US LTD shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special or punitive damages, loss of profits, loss of business, loss of data, or losses arising from reliance on industry-informed estimates. Our total aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the fees paid by you to us in the 12 months preceding the claim. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
9.Data and privacy
Personal data is processed in line with our Privacy Policy. We do not sell your data.
10.Termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms or pose a security, legal or reputational risk. You may close your account at any time from settings.
11.Changes to the Service or Terms
We may update the Service and these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified by email or in-app and take effect on the date stated in the update.
12.Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, subject to any non-waivable consumer rights in your country of residence.
